Thriving Environment and Infra-structure Programme - Goal 3
The aim of the Thriving Environment and Infra-structure programme is to enhance economic competitiveness by facilitating physical development opportunities. These in turn, will support business development, expansion and inward investment.
Goal 3 is delivered in partnership with Birmingham City Council and Solihull MBC and Groundwork
Principal Actions
- Facilitating the provision of sites, their assembly and development for economic purposes
- Supporting the economic development of local centres
- Encouraging the development of wider housing choice
- Supporting the development of underused or unused buildings and sites for economic use
- Supporting transport initiatives to key employment sites
- Promoting innovative design and ensuring sustainable development
